I have been doing a lot of reading and research on baby carriers recently, and came across this great post about easing stress with baby carriers.
This is something that has become quite important for me, having a newborn is not all about laughs and giggles. It seems I end up spending a lot of my time cleaning nappies and washing clothes. And at the end of it, I have incredibly bad back pain from carrying the little tyke around everywhere.
I came across this article and found a selection of great baby carriers, some with great and unique functions. I actually shortlisted 3 which I thought would help, and in the end I settled on the Hipseat. It turns out that my baby is a little too snug for the majority of baby slings and holster carriers, but the Hipseat is a little unique in that it doesnt cradle the baby around your body. I have read a few reviews and it seems a great little product, will definitely be ordering mine this week!
We recently had a major electrical problem in our new building, and I just wanted to praise those who came to help.
Around 2 weeks ago we got given the keys to our new office, and we started moving in. It didnt take long before the desks and computers were in, and then we were just waiting for the final date for the electricians to complete the installation of the phone lines and the internet. This came just last week, and by this Monday we were in! (or so we thought)
It turned out that the electrics within the office were actually rather old, the building is old but nothing suggested this. With the extra load on the electrical system it would short frequently. We ended up calling back our electrician somerset who came nearly immediately. It turns out that the additional load from the electronics (computers, kettle etc.) it was too much for the weak mains system and was causing it to short.
Two days of office inactivity later, R & D Electrical Ltd had replaced much of the electrical wiring and we were back up and running. Its now been over a week and we haven't had any further problems, so a massive thanks to them.
